Welcome to Waves Dance Competition - our names are Caitlin & Ann Elyse and we are the proud owners of Waves.  We are reaching out to share this new community as well as share a bit about ourselves and Waves.  We have collectively been in the dance industry for over 10 years and have worked in every aspect and capacity within the dance industry with some of the biggest names in the field.  Including but not limited to Headliners Dance Competition, Shake the Ground, Fly Dance Competition, Elite Performance Challenge and Excel In Motion.

Caitlin is a Massachusetts native who grew up training in competitive dance and went on to continue her education where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Dean College focusing in Dance, Drama and Teacher Education.  She now resides in Orlando, FL where she has been in the entertainment industry for over the past 10 years with Universal Studios Orlando, Walt Disney World, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and Seaworld Orlando as a professional entertainer and performance captain for several different shows. When she is not performing she has been traveling and working as a Regional Director and Dance Competition Consultant all over the United States. 

Ann Elyse established several companies including: Confirmed Talent – a talent management company that specializes in education for dancers, conventions, competitions and studios and GoShow Yourself – an urban wear line.  She has been the National Director for Headliners Dance, Regional Director and consultant for  a multitude of dance competitions and conventions.  Following her graduation from Binghamton University, Ann Elyse assumed operations roles for nationally recognized consulting firms. A native of New York, Ann Elyse resides in New York City with her wife, Casie Goshow, hip-hop artist and choreographer.

 

Through our work we have had the pleasure to serve clients like you, directly.  We know what issues arise at events, what your dancers need, what your parents are looking for, what is of value for your families and, importantly, what you as owners feel are most important.

 

We have taken all that information and experience and applied it to our dance competition.  An event that is unique to the industry with an emphasis once again on education, community and the artistry of dance.
